New York City Got Served

If you followed my semi-off-topic post about the NYPD illegally stopping and searching me and having it still be less invasive (though in many ways more offensive) than a TSA search, I filed suit today against the City of New York in US District Court for the Southern District of New York.  City hall is 2 buildings down from the federal courthouse, so I went with a friend who served them right then, and wow was the woman she served pissed off — yelling and screaming that it wasn’t her job (hint: if you work in the Comptroller’s Bureau of Law and Adjustment, it’s your job :) ).
